Overall I am very happy with this hex bar. The knurling is very aggressive and feels great during a workout. The feet that work as a built in barbell jack work great. It feels rock solid with and without weight on it. I have only done one workout so far, and loaded 250lbs of plates on it for a 320lb total weight, and the bar felt super stable. The 18 inch barbell sleeves are a wonderful addition, as most companies are only using 10 inch sleeves on budget bars to cut down shipping costs. It is not without fault though. The welds look a little sloppy, but they at least look like they made up for it with quantity over quality lol. Also one of the feet on the bar is slightly crooked, but it doesn't interfere with function so I'm not going to dock a star. One more criticism for the bar would be for the bar beneath the handles to have knurling so you could use the bar without the raised handles for greater range of motion if you so choose, or for pressing exercises. I plan on using hockey tape for that purpose in lieu of the knurling. For the price point I feel like this is one of the best deals I have gotten on any fitness equipment. Especially when a Kabuki open trap bar with similar features costs more than 3 times as much. I took a risk with this since it had zero reviews, but I'm happy I did!*Edit*I have had this bar for about 8 months now, and I still love it. The rubber gaskets on the feet fell off a while ago, but honestly I don't miss them, the metal feet have yet to damage my rubber floor. I just worked up to 425lbs yesterday in a workout, and the bar felt rock solid still. I am not sure if I believe their 1000lb claim, but it could be true. The quality control issues for other reviewers is concerning, but amazon is usually good about managing damaged and defective goods, so I would say it is worth the risk/hassle ordering this bar.The only actual complaint I have is that it is not balanced well at all. It wants to drop forward towards the closed side. I just grip the handles toward the front half of the hand grips and it feels balanced in my hands at least, but it is at least something to note.
