I bought this product because I thought it would be a sturdy reliable one. Less then two years old and the spout portion is rotted and it won’t stay up in the spout. I am very disappointed and saddened at this lack of quality in the productThis is an excellent faucet, just be aware if you are covering tap holes in the sink you will need the piece to cover them as it doesn't come with the unit.I have used this faucet in our prep sink for only a few days so, operationally, I can only state that, so far, it works as advertised. This review will focus on installation. My installation was spread over two days, taking me a total of about 6 hours or so. My biggest complaint with this faucet is that design wise they made two major mistakes that caused a lot of frustration. The first mistake is that the supply hoses that are built into t the faucet were made of very stiff Pex-like material that were very long. Trying to coil these hoses and then attach them to the angle stops was very troublesome, especially in the very tight space under a sink. The illustrations in the instruction manual do not convey how difficult this maneuver is while on your back, reaching up in the tight space behind the sink. Also, because these hoses are so stiff, that the pressure generated by the coil tends to cause cross threading unless you are very careful. Whoever decided to use this material instead of the braided, flexible hoses that were previously used, should be fired. That person has obviously never attempted to install a faucet with these hoses! The second design mistake they made is that the portion of the hose where the solenoid is attached is way too short in my opinion. That section of hose protrudes from the faucet about 6”, placing the solenoid connection point directly behind the sink itself—a very tight space to find enough space for both hands and muster enough leverage to “pop” the hose into the solenoid fitting. Had to try multiple times before being successful. If it had it been such an ordeal to install I would have given the overall rating more stars. At the time of installation I was very angry with the designer of this faucet for making the two errors I have described—both of which were completely avoidable. The cynic in me assumed these mistakes were the result of cost cutting measures. After our last Delta faucet broke and we couldn’t find replacement parts, I was nervous to buy another Delta. But my wife wanted this, I thought the touch option was dumb and yet another thing to break down the road. She also wanted the spot free finish.I’d say both are awesome. No more fiddling with the handle, no water spots for sure. It works great and looks very nice.I do think the water output (flow) is LESS than our previous Delta Faucet, but not a lot less.Oh, and my wife installed it herself in a few minutes. Very easy. The chrome faucet is beautiful and easy to install. Don't forget the hot water adjuster before you put the handle on. Strong? spray is great to rinse your stuff off dishes etc.. Swings left and right so smoothly. Handle pull down is so easily to operate and the magnet docking is the best.Delta products has been my #1 choice and have always liked the quality. I have used this for over a month now and so far it is working fantastic and looks great in my kitchen. Love how easy it is to remove the sprayer with the magnetic hold.I love, love, love this faucet. The water pressure is much stronger than my old Moen faucet. It comes in 2 stainless steel colors! I didn’t know the difference and I would have preferred ordering the other stainless steel color, but unless you have a good eye it’s barely noticeable. My husband & I installed it ourselves and it was pretty easy for not being plumbers. Watched YouTube. It’s so well made because all the connections are attached to the faucet. The hardest part of this whole project was taking out our old Moen faucet. LOVE this!Have now used this one in two rentals. No problem so far, but they are both less than 6 months old. I bought because they "seem" to be all metal while many others just plastic with a stainless-looking finish. I also hear from our repair people that Delta plumbing items easier to find than many other brands. My less expensive prior faucets lasted about 2 years but then started leaking (but they "looked" great). We have older similar Delta model in our own home and has lasted so far about 5 years and going fine.Deltas are good but not the best. Like Moen they have pros and cons. At first my parents bought a Moen from Costco, like most Moens there is more plastic than Delta. My parents also agreed with me that the diverter to change from stream to spray was not that nice in the Moen which is why I choose Delta (Moen diverters have to have a lot of pressure to hold in the spray function, Delta can do either mode even with just a dribble). Problem is that the Delta has a very annoying triangular shaped design in the temp/flow control knob, whereas unlike Moen when you turn the water flow off it sort of goes back into a neutral position between hot/cold. So when you turn the water back on again, you have to re-find the temperature you want. It sounds like a tiny thing, but in use it's actually quite annoying. Still, my family prefers the nice diverter valve in the spray head and the slightly nicer quality of the Delta. We chose to go without the touch feature as some reviews said that it was occasionally finicky and it wasn't worth the extra cost. The tap was straightforward to install ourselves and works well. We also love the ability to pull out the sprayer and switch between the streams. My only complaint is that you have to make sure the handle is in the shut position. Especially with kids, it's easy to pull it to one side slightly causing the water to drip.as stated in other reviews if you dont center the tap when closing it will continue to leak, but hey this is a delta went ahead and ordered it anyway, and it does do what other reviews said it would do, so dont turn your back and close the tap and off to bed cause in the morning you will see its been leaking all nite too late to return just need to make sure handle is centered, delta isnt delta anymore probably comes from china like evrything else i have a bullet proof delta in the basement but its an older model wouldnt buy againI like the look of this faucet, but also the functionality. It is very convenient to just have to touch the faucet. Have previously used the "wave" technology by another brand, which was very annoying because depending on shadows, the faucet would turn on just passing by.SE USO PARA EL FREGADERO DE LA COCINA . MUY BUEN PRODUCTO .
