I took to it straightaway- the range of motion feels far more natural (and is safer with heavy weights) than mixed-grip deadlifting with a straight barbell. Couldn't be happier!(The packaging was decimated on one side, but thankfully the bar arrived in almost pristine condition.)This is exactly what I expected the product to be!Really good trap bar, solid welds, just be aware it has extremely aggressive knurling. To help out I used baseball bat tape which worked perfect.We got this for some weighted squats after my husband's PCL injury. He has a hard time placing weigh on his shoulders so this was a great alternative.Very solid construction with a variety of uses above and beyond shrugs and deadlifts. I do Bi’s and tri’s among other movements with the handle setup on this bar!Used for a few months and it was well worth the money.Disappointed with the item as it is missing a full set of handles (one on each side) as can be seen in the photo. The bar is good otherwise and is what you would expect from a hex bar.
